Yeah, I mean of course Obama had some white support, but black Americans canvassed and voted at a higher turnout than usual for Obama and significantly pushed him over the edge. In the same vein, of course some percentage men will turn out for a female candidate, but I think female voter turnout will be the reason we eventually elect a female president (🤞)… not by convincing the 55% of men who are uncomfortable with a female president to change their minds.
