After I moved to basically the epicenter of white liberals, I’ve also been really disappointed in the blatant cultural appropriation everywhere, too. It speaks to the same hypocrisy you describe. White feminism can’t turn around and commit the same marginalization of other races and cultures that’s committed against women. It really dumbfounds me how anyone can miss the irony.
