It’s a good question for sure. Some of these people I know personally. In one case, the girl with thousands of followers was posting about this perfect vacation, while privately texting me that she “hated Bali” and was having a really rough and homesick time. In that case I felt it was detrimental. But you’re right, I can’t speak for all.
